Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in July, Anstee & Co is now looking towards the next 10.
Managing director Caroline Anstee says one of her goals when she set up the firm was to introduce the financial advice profession to those who had not previously thought of it as a career. Anstee & Co has since taken two graduates to the diploma stage, hired three apprentices and mentored two individuals to become advisers.
Following a consultation with each employee about how they want to work, the whole team chose a hybrid model. Anstee says this combats the diluted team spirit experienced during Covid lockdowns.
ESG funds make up some 40% of the strategies recommended in the past year and now command 21% of assets under advice, which are expected to reach £190m by the end of the year.
Each year the firm hosts a charity golf day. Last year £5,720 was raised for mental health charity We Mind & Kelly Matters.
