Ashlea Financial Planning completed its management buyout at the beginning of the year and is settling into its new structure nicely.
The team has found it has much more time to delve deeper into its clients’ goals after making the decision to outsource its investments to PortfolioMetrix and move its back-office system to Time4Advice. Managing director Nik Marsh says this has enabled the firm to take financial planning to another level.
The team is growing: two new apprentices have been hired and they are now studying for their first exams. The new team members will give Ashlea the capacity to bring on new clients. Eleanor Clark, a financial planner at the firm, is working towards chartered status with NextGen Planners.
Clark, a former teacher, dedicates some of her free time to teaching financial education workshops in local primary schools.
