High standards are integral to Boosst. Of the seven fee-earning advisers at the Milton Keynes-based firm, five are certified financial planners with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. The highly qualified team has been built, in part, through the firm’s ‘bright to Boosst’ development programme.
It has also been bolstered by Boosst’s policy of targeting talented university leavers and those looking for a career change. Such joiners are mentored through all their exams until they are fully qualified. The firm has had two graduates come through the five-year programme so far and four others are at various stages in the process.
The firm is heavily involved with NextGen Planners. This year, Boosst opened its doors to financial planners and paraplanners from other firms for a ‘summer camp’ to share best practice in the profession.
High standards are also evident in charity and community work. In the past year Boosst has donated eight pallets of food and supplies to a Ukrainian aid group, raised £8,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, and sponsored the Luton Rugby Football Club to provide kit and coaching for children aged six to 16.
