Eva Capital Management
Hannah Edwards
Worcester

The Eva Capital Management team comprises six women from the world of private banking, stockbroking and wealth management.

The firm took on its first work experience candidate this year, from Christopher Whitehead secondary school in Worcester. It also began working with King’s Worcester senior school to offer a gap year placement to a business studies student, which will become an annual programme.

Any CVs that are sent in are always given consideration; the firm sees it as its duty to offer everyone a coffee and a chat. Eva Capital’s managing director Hannah Edwards started her financial career following a referral from a Financial Times journalist, which led to work experience, so she knows the value and importance of helping others onto the ladder.

With an eye on sustainability, team members can borrow items of clothing from one another or exchange items.
