Furnley House is firmly embedded within the Leicester community. It aims to be a trusted source of financial advice but also of wider financial support within the local area. The firm’s charity, The Furnley House Foundation, has raised £130,000 in the past four years for local causes. Furnley House also recently launched its own awards, The Leicestershire Community Champions Awards, to celebrate local heroes.
With two acquisitions this year, Furnley House, co-founded by Stefan Fura, has grown from £340m of funds under advice in 2021 to a projected £434m this year. It expects to service 1,300 clients in 2022 compared with 600 last year. The firm, which has grown from 36 to 45 employees since 2021, is now exploring ways to train non-experienced staff and support them to get their Level 6 qualification.
Furnley House has also invested in the environment. It is a net-zero company and has applied for B Corporation certification.
