Now in its 20th year, Holden & Partners believes it has created the right approach to benefit people and the planet.

One of a relatively small number of chartered independent financial advisers that hold B Corporation accreditation, it prides itself on having been founded on sustainable principles before it was fashionable.

As part of the B Corporation Net Zero 2030 drive, Holden & Partners uses electricity generated from renewable sources and has significantly reduced paper waste.

The firm, led by managing director Steven Pyne, has also put in place a new centralised investment proposition with a keener focus on ESG. Strategies that are ESG, ethical or impact-focused accounted for half of the funds recommended in the past year, and overall they command £275m out of £500m of funds under advice.

Other developments include fund-level impact reporting, a strengthened ESG due diligence questionnaire and process, and monthly client communications focused on sustainable investment.
