Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) is set to reach an impressive milestone in 2022 when funds under advice hit the £1bn mark. That is a remarkable feat since the company’s fee earners remain at 16.

IFA, whose trading brands within its group include Rosebridge and Pro Sport Wealth Management, has embarked on a process of disengaging non-profitable clients and attracting new ones through a revamped website.

Celebrating its 16th year of chartered status, it encourages all staff to work towards achieving this qualification. The company, run by CEO Phillip Rose, does not believe in glass ceilings and invests from the grassroots. At present, four apprentices are working towards their Level 4 diploma in financial planning.

Community involvement includes running weekly money advice sessions for Open Door, a charity supporting young people, and sponsoring the kit of 20 local football teams.

When it comes to succession planning, the firm is considering a number of options, including a float on a smaller market, a management buyout and an internal sale.
