Succession planning is in motion at Investment Solutions, with senior financial adviser Khalil Kasparis becoming a shareholder in August. Having joined the firm three years ago from UBS, he is now in the process of acquiring a meaningful equity position in the firm.
In his early 30s, he is seen as instrumental in helping to shape, build and develop what will remain an independent business over the long term.
Another key aspect of the firm’s future is its graduate programme, which was launched in June and hired its first intake this month. It also welcomed its first work placement student for a 12-month period from August and established an annual internship programme.
Achieving a positive impact locally is important, and the firm fundraised for around 20 mainly local charities over the year. Maximising the impact of its philanthropic efforts and working towards B Corporation certification are on the agenda for 2023.
