With an average ongoing fee of 0.5% for a client with £500,000 of investable assets, Just Financial Planning is reaping the rewards of its below-average charging structure. The firm has attracted around 60 new clients and £25m of funds under advice, taking it to 770 and £225m, respectively.
Moving into a larger office has provided capacity for future growth and enables the firm to cater for the increasing technological demands of clients, with interactive meetings and group conference calls.
More regular client update emails, particularly to alleviate concerns during volatile periods such as that following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, have been well received and have paved the way for greater understanding of investment markets during annual review meetings.
The firm’s four advisers were born in different decades, providing the foundation for a natural succession plan. Led by managing director Holly Heald, Just Financial Planning also employs a trainee adviser who has recently become a shareholder.
