Having started as an asset-gathering investment specialist, Kingsfleet has evolved into a lifestyle financial planning firm, which is why it is quietly dropping ‘Wealth’ from its name.
One thing that remains the same is a desire to have an impact beyond making a profit for its shareholders. After a three-year process, it has been awarded B Corporation status.
Named after founder Colin Low’s primary school, Kingsfleet deems education and learning important. The firm has increased its focus on the community, seeking to become the go-to local expert on personal finance. Kingsfleet supplies a fortnightly column for the East Anglian Daily Times and regularly features on BBC Radio Suffolk.
The firm supports many good causes through its charitable trust and is sponsoring a further trust in memory of one of its advisers, Gary Gladwell, who died suddenly in April. The trust will provide funding for children’s sport and play in Suffolk.
