Having built its reputation in Newcastle for more than 50 years, Lowes has opened a smaller satellite office in Middlesbrough to make its services more readily available to clients in Teesside. If this proves successful, the company may open other offices.

The firm has expanded its workforce by eight to 100. Its senior leadership team, headed by managing director Ian Lowes, has been bolstered through the creation of two new positions – an associate director and a head of financial planning.

The firm’s charity committee remains very active, presiding over the distribution of £100,000 per year to a wide variety of local and national charities.
