Penguin is well on the way to reaching its goal of helping to financially educate 10,000 people by 2030. By the end of June, 9,019 people had already benefited from its webinars, podcasts, monthly wealth management updates, books, guides, employer surgeries or taking advantage of its ‘no turn down’ policy.

If someone completes its ‘lifetime focuser’ mini fact-find and arranges an in-person or virtual meeting, someone from managing director Craig Palfrey’s advice and support team will give them 45-60 minutes of their time for free.

The firm has now trebled its goal and wants to educate 30,000 people by 2030 – an ambitious target but one its 35-strong team is behind.

Another significant achievement is saving clients a total of £472,000 in tax between January and March thanks to a tax webinar that ran through 50 top tax tips in 45 minutes.

Penguin has taken on four university leavers and promoted a paraplanner to the advice team, with fee earners going from six to nine overall.
