When the pandemic forced all client meetings to go online, many planners questioned whether they needed their offices anymore. However, post-Covid, Stewardship Wealth’s clients said they still wanted in-person meetings, prompting the Scottish firm to move to new offices in a more relaxed rural setting.

The firm expanded its team this year with a new financial planning graduate, bringing its total fee-earning advisers to two, including director Simon Glazier, and upgraded its employee onboarding and training programme.

As well as growing the business, Stewardship Wealth is committed to philanthropy and helping the community. The firm is in the process of gaining B Corporation status and gives 10% of its annual turnover to charities linked to mental health, education and the environment.

This year the business also hosted a group of local business leaders who debated the value of financial planning. Following Dragons’ Den-style pitches, the winner was awarded a gift to their nominated charity.
