Since managing director Paul Cleworth launched Tandem Financial in 2016, the firm has grown quickly from £44m in assets to £120m today, spanning across 210 client families.

In May the firm achieved a major milestone by opening its new offices, a refurbished barn. The project was delayed by two years due to Covid, but the opening event was nevertheless exciting for the firm and the 90 clients and guests who attended when the building was officially opened.

This year the firm has also built a new website that works better on phones and tablets, and created a new corporate video featuring client stories. Tandem Financial, which has one fee-earning planner, also took on a new hire in August in order to manage its expanding client base.

Cleworth highlights that Tandem’s professional indemnity premiums are just 1.9% of turnover, reflecting the ‘low-risk and excellent processes and procedures’ in place.
