Created in February 2021 from the merger of two firms, Wealth Experts has grown significantly in the short time it has been operating.

Managing directors Richard Johnston (pictured) and Paul Darley have overseen a 21% increase in client numbers and a 23% rise in assets under advice since the merger.

Staff numbers at the firm have grown from 13 to 15 over the past year, with five of them advisers. The firm’s client proposition is based around in-house model portfolios designed in line with Tim Hale’s Albion Strategic Consulting, which focuses on helping advice firms build their portfolios in line with his investment philosophy.

Wealth Experts is mining a rich seam of talent through a partnership with Keele University by offering jobs to graduates interested in financial planning.

It has also raised £16,000 for local causes this year.
